The face behind Cherry Blossoms: When she is onstage, she is Cherry Blossom, the lady with the wig the kids all know and love. In reality she is known as Kenzie Egbert, an everyday, normal musician. Aside from writing stories and children's songs, music has been a part of Kenzie's life for 22 long, happy years(and yes, she was even listening to it in the womb!).
Kenzie has been singing since her early years of elementary school, taking personal voice lessons from her mother, who sang a variety of styles and taught her the “ways of being a singer.” She is also a classically trained vocalist, growing up with music and choir teachers all through her adolescent years.
She now resides in Georgia, pursuing an Associate's of Music degree at Georgia Perimeter College. There was not a time Kenzie didn't sing. True passion and heart is what you can count on when it comes to bringing happiness and light into peoples' lives. Kenzie is also in the process of working on a website that showcases her other talents in music, so stay tuned(link coming soon!).
*A sincere note from the author:
There will never be an absence of professionalism from me. Music has been around in my family and helped heal wounds and free emotions in my subconscious I never knew I had. Music is one of the best ways to show you care, and I always do my best to do exactly that. Music brings a level of comfort to tame this crazy world. It has always helped me to express myself, and now my mission is to pass this gift on to the next generation. It is our duty to lead the way, so help me guide these kids in a positive direction(For more information on special offers and rates, please visit the Rates link)!

*Side notes: Kenzie was born in Colorado in May, 1991, and brought to Preston, Idaho to be raised on a farm. She was a child with many differences and only learned how to express those differences from her loving family, teachers, and friends. This site is dedicated to her mother, Roya Shihady, for all she's done for her daughter.
